• Perform cable upgrades and splicing tasks, both aerial and underground under guidance.
• Test, activate, and troubleshoot equipment after installation.
• Ensure all splicing operations meet strict customer and industry standards.
• Work safely at varying heights, from underground to high platforms.
• Maintain vehicles, including performing fluid checks and basic daily maintenance.
• Document work through daily production reports, map markings, and material usage records.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Be 18 years of age or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
• Valid State driver's license (non‑provisional) with an acceptable driving record.
• Pass a DOT physical exam and obtain a valid medical card.
• Six months of coax splicing experience or one year of telecommunications industry experience.

• Certified pole climber or demonstrate proficiency as a pole climber (preferred).

• Routine: work in confined spaces, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, perform fine hand motion, work alone in remote locations with arms above shoulder level, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, and lift greater than 55 lbs, use keyboard and mouse.
• Occasional: use ladder and gaffs for climbing poles.

The wage range for Splicer I Coax is $27.00 - $28.00.
