Transportation Supervisor​/MOD

Position: Transportation Supervisor / MOD

Location: South San Francisco, Ca

Department: Transportation

Reports To: Transportation Manager

• Develop and train Food Equipment Handler employees to perform their duties effectively and successfully
• Create a work environment that demonstrates good team work on and off the airfield
• Ensuring daily shift and hours are accurate and eliminating overtime when necessary
• Assisting with line‑up of assignments, being able to assign and make changes to driver, driver helper and coordinator assignments when needed, and after‑hours assistance with other department
• Accurately complete and submit operational paperwork regarding ramp safety check observation sheets / audits, boarding bills
• Coordinate flights to ensure they are accurate for correct crew meals
• Ensure that KDT's (Kitchen Departure Time) and KAT's (Kitchen Arrival Time) are met according to required specifications.
• Communicate and implement changes in the operation as it relates to airline and equipment swaps.
• Assist with coverage when needed (sick call coverage, OT coverage)
• Hold employees accountable for their actions if negative
• Communicate with security team if needed
• Assist with downtime work assignments (washing cleaning trucks, packing ice, line up of trucks for fueling)

• Assist with minor deliveries to plane side (missing items, short items, lounge food)
• Assist with other assignments delegated by Transportation Manager and Safety Manager

• H.S. Diploma or equivalent
• Class C non‑CDL license
• Ability to speak/write fluent English required
• Ability to get airport badge/access to all servicing airports (4)
• Excellent driving record
• Positive attitude, leadership skills, strong, ability to work independently but in a team environment as well
• Communication skills, some computer work, Word, Excel
• Working knowledge of HACCP concepts, cleaning and sanitizing processes
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the food industry
