Nurture Teacher – South Shields

This school is looking for a Nurture Teacher who truly values emotional wellbeing, routine and connection. You’ll lead a small nurture group, supporting pupils who benefit from a gentle, predictable approach to school life.

Daily duties:

• Delivering a nurture-based curriculum with wellbeing at the core
• Supporting social skills, communication and emotional literacy
• Creating a safe, structured environment with low-demand transitions
• Working alongside SEN and pastoral teams to personalise provision
• Building confidence and celebrating small steps forward

What you’ll need:

• QTS
• Experience in nurture, SEND or SEMH environments
• A reflective, patient and supportive teaching style

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
