Classroom Support Teaching Assistant

This welcoming school in South Shields is looking for a Classroom Support Teaching Assistant who enjoys being part of a team and making a difference in the small, everyday moments that matter most.

• Supporting pupils during lessons to help them stay focused and involved
• Working with small groups to reinforce learning
• Providing reassurance and encouragement throughout the school day
• Supporting behaviour and positive classroom routines
• Working closely with teachers to adapt learning where needed

• Experience working with children or young people
• A patient, reliable, and supportive approach
• Good communication skills and a team-first mindset
• Confidence working across a busy classroom environment
• A genuine interest in helping pupils succeed

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
