As a Classroom Supervisor
, you will work across different subjects and year groups, following lesson plans provided by teaching staff and supporting students to complete their work in a structured environment.

Secondary schools in South Tyneside are recruiting a Classroom Supervisor to support learning continuity during staff absence. This Classroom Supervisor role focuses on maintaining classroom routines and ensuring students engage with assigned learning tasks.

• Supervising whole classes during scheduled lessons
• Supporting students to follow instructions and complete tasks
• Upholding school behaviour and safeguarding policies
• Communicating effectively with teaching and support staff

• Previous school or youth work experience is preferred but not essential
• An interest in education and classroom-based roles
• Ability to manage groups of secondary-aged students

This Classroom Supervisor role is well suited to graduates, aspiring teachers, or those seeking school-based experience.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
