We are working with an alternative provision in South Shields to recruit a SEMH Learning Support Assistant. The setting supports pupils who require a more flexible, personalised approach to education, focusing on wellbeing and re-engagement.

This role is ideal for someone with strong behaviour support skills and a nurturing approach.

South Shields | Free on-site parking, ideal for drivers
£95 – £115 per day | PAYE

  • Support pupils with SEMH needs throughout the school day
  • Work closely with pupils on a 1:1 basis
  • Support behaviour management and emotional regulation
  • Encourage positive routines and engagement

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
