Milk Education are seeking a confident and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support primary schools across [location]. This is a fantastic opportunity for an established HLTA or an experienced Teaching Assistant ready to step up into a more advanced classroom role.

We are working with supportive and welcoming schools looking for strong classroom practitioners who can lead learning and make a real impact.

As an HLTA, you will:

• Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher

• Provide targeted interventions to small groups and individual pupils

• Support pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2

• Assist with planning and assessment

• Help manage classroom behaviour effectively

• Work collaboratively with teaching staff and SEN teams

• HLTA status or equivalent experience

• Previous experience working within a UK primary school

• Strong classroom management skills

• A confident and adaptable approach

• A solid understanding of the primary curriculum

• A passion for supporting children’s development
