Protocol Education is seeking a confident and proactive Behaviour Mentor to support pupils within a specialist alternative provision setting.

The school supports students who may have experienced barriers to education, including SEMH needs, trauma, adverse childhood experiences, and behavioural challenges.

Responsibilities:
  • Supporting pupils both inside and outside the classroom
  • Delivering behaviour intervention strategies
  • Promoting positive attitudes towards learning
  • Assisting pupils with emotional wellbeing
  • Supporting reintegration into education where appropriate
  • Liaising with teaching and safeguarding teams
Working Hours:
  • Monday to Thursday: 8:30am – 4:00pm
  • Friday: 8:30am – 3:15pm
Ideal Candidate:
  • Background in youth work, sports coaching, mentoring or care
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Calm and professional approach
  • Ability to build positive relationships
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
