Overview

As a lecturer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching, supporting learners to reach their full potential, and contributing to the continued success and growth of our Health and Social Care provision. Qualifications
  • Relevant Health and Social Care or healthcare qualification at Level 4 or above.
  • GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent).
  • Teaching qualification, or a willingness to work towards one.
  • Assessor and/or Verifier qualifications, or a willingness to work towards achieving them.
  • Evidence of continued professional development and maintaining current industry knowledge.
  • Understanding of safeguarding responsibilities and a commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion.
Experience
  • Recent vocational or sector experience within a healthcare setting.
  • Experience working in a healthcare or clinical role.
  • Experience of teaching, training, coaching or supporting learners in an educational or professional environment.
Skills and Attributes
  • Excellent subject knowledge within Health and Social Care.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organisational, administrative and IT skills.
  • A flexible, positive and collaborative approach to work.
  • A genuine commitment to supporting learners and promoting their success.
