SEMH Support Assistant

Some pupils need more than academic support, they need someone who understands them.

We are recruiting an SEMH Support Assistant in South Shields within a specialist setting focused on helping pupils overcome barriers to learning.

This role is centred around emotional support, behaviour guidance, and building trust.

• Support pupils with SEMH needs
• Assist with behaviour management strategies
• Help pupils stay engaged in learning

• Experience with SEMH or similar settings
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Resilient and adaptable
