SEN Teaching Assistant - Specialist School

Protocol Education is recruiting full‑time SEN Teaching Assistants to join specialist provisions across South Shields this September.

You’ll support children with SLD, PMLD, Autism, communication difficulties and complex medical needs
, helping them access education through tailored learning, sensory experiences and positive relationships. This role would suit candidates with backgrounds in education, health care, residential care or support work who are passionate about improving the lives of children with additional needs.

• Full‑time

• Working hours between 8:30am‑3:30pm and 8:30am‑4:30pm
• Term‑time only

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
