• Conduct supplier audits and performance assessments
• Approve quality documentation including PPAPs, FMEAs and Control Plans
• Investigate and resolve supplier quality issues using CAPA and 8D methodologies
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean and Six Sigma principles
• Monitor supplier performance and identify opportunities to improve quality and reduce defects
• Support incoming inspection activities and ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with colleagues across UK operations and an international manufacturing facility to drive consistency and best practice

• Experience in supplier quality within manufacturing or engineering
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and core quality tools including PPAP, FMEA, SPC and 8D
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication skills with the confidence to influence suppliers and stakeholders
• A relevant Engineering or Quality qualification
• Six Sigma Green Belt (desirable)
• Experience with in bearings, heavy engineering or project-based manufacturing (advantageous)
