Senior Ecologist

Overview

The opportunity has arisen for a confident and experienced Senior Ecologist to join a small Environmental organisation in Sussex. You will join a company with a genuine interest in ecology, conservation and protected species to work on a range of projects. You will be given the opportunity to work on conservation and research lead projects and join a small enthusiastic team.

• As a Senior Ecologist you manage projects from quotation to invoicing, undertake surveys, liaise with clients, data analysis and produce reports, as well as working with the team on larger projects.
• You will have previous experience of phase 1 habitat and protected species assessments, Biodiversity Net Gain calculations and report writing skills.

• Ideally a couple of protected species licenses, EPS licenses are desirable
• CIEEM Associate or Full membership
• Report writing and technical experience
• Full Driving License

There is a competitive salary on offer for this role dependant on experience, plus a very flexible working arrangement. You will also work in a small friendly environment, have the use of a company vehicle and receive specialist training.
