Job Summary
The Dakota County Star is expanding in 2026 and needs a bilingual (English/Spanish) creative talent who will do the following:
- Help communicate with our Spanish‑speaking customer base
- Sell advertising (primarily to Spanish‑speaking business owners, but will help in other areas)
- Assist in coverage of local (South Sioux City/Dakota County) news and events with a focus on Latino‑themed events. (Photography and journalism skills welcome, but not required.)
- Other duties as necessary.
Job will be 20‑25 hours per week to start. Pay is $15 an hour to start, with possible bonuses depending on quality of work. More hours and potential full‑time employment are possible.
