What You’ll Accomplish

• Providing upmost care and maintenance for the safety and wellbeing of our employees and equipment.
• Operate machinery and equipment used in the manufacture of products.
• Read and follow manuals, work instructions, master samples, process alerts and procedures.
• Inspect products for surface defects and flaws.
• Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary work area at all times.
• Participate in audits and assist in the development of procedures and corrective actions, completing all related daily and maintenance reports.
• Must adhere to the plant’s HACCP plans.
• Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s).
• Troubleshoot PLC‑operated packing equipment.
• Electrical knowledge: 110–480 volts.
• Use handheld power tools.
• May be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.

Position Summary
Properly perform preventative maintenance while ensuring a proper production flow on the production lines.

Preferred Experience

• Troubleshoot issues with Injection Molding.
• Optimize material process to create consistent product.
• Direct production operators on basic troubleshooting.
• Install and remove molds from the press based on production schedule.
• Set up molding machine including tooling and programming.
• Set up auxiliary processing equipment including robot, grinder, take‑away belts, etc.
• Install water lines, airlines, hot runners, or other machine utilities as needed.
• Carry out preventative maintenance on machines in collaboration with the maintenance team.

Safety

• Complete safety system documentation and verify compliance with program standards. Report deviations to the Environmental Health & Safety Manager.
• Participate in mandatory safety training program requirements.
• Report all safety issues, near misses, and injuries.

Quality & Food Safety

• Complete quality and food safety system documentation and verify compliance with program standards. Report deviations to the Food Safety & Quality Assurance Manager.
• Participate in mandatory food safety and quality training program requirements.
