Schedule:
7am-5:30pm, every other holiday and as needed. At Vivie, we value our people and offer a competitive pay range of $18.06/hr. to $23.50/hr (hourly non‑exempt) based on experience, qualifications, and location. - Prepare & serve meals – ensure quality, taste, and nutrition meet high standards for residents.
- Follow food safety guidelines, maintaining clean and organized kitchen spaces.
- Accommodate dietary needs, including allergen‑free and modified meals if needed.
- Track food and supplies to ensure availability.
- Other duties as assigned (the duties and responsibilities listed above are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive).
- Previous cooking experience in healthcare, hospitality, or restaurants preferred.
- Food safety knowledge preferred;
Serv Safe certification a plus. - Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced kitchen environment.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to pass state‑mandated background check.
- Physical capability to perform all essential job functions.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively to ensure communication with residents, staff, and visitors.
