Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Facility Maintenance
Located in Staffordshire, we specialise in supporting young people with severe or complex mental health conditions who need intensive inpatient treatment. We are dedicated to providing caring, supportive, recovery-focused treatment and we achieve this by working together with our young people, their families and other professionals.
Working Hours and Schedule- Full time, Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm
- Includes working one weekend out of four on call
- General maintenance and upkeep of the centre buildings
- Maintenance of pathways, including cleaning, snow and ice clearance and prevention operations
- Recording of all data associated with the Estates Operations manual
- Maintenance of all grounds and lawns using the plant and equipment supplied; caring for specialist Estates equipment including PPE
- Stock and storage of all equipment; maintenance and cleanliness of all storage areas
- Monitoring of gas, electricity, water and sewage systems
- Safety inspections on electrical equipment and maintaining inventory records
- Cleaning and general maintenance of the centre's vehicle
- General upkeep tasks as required by the team with full driving licence
- Full driving licence
- Previous experience in a maintenance position
- Friendly and helpful approach
- Ability to work with the team or independently depending on tasks
