The Role CNC Machinist

Join our leading aerospace client s team in Wolverhampton and contribute to cutting-edge NPI projects.

As a CNC Machinist, you ll play a key role in machining complex components for advanced aircraft systems, working in a collaborative and innovative environment.

This is a day shift role, likely moving to a Double-Day shift in the during 2026.

Duties CNC Machinist

• Set up, operate, and manage a variety of Mazak CNC machines including mill/turn capability.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to support NPI programs
• Conduct first-off inspections and ongoing quality checks
• Machine components to extremely tight tolerances.
• Select and optimize tooling and machining parameters
• Troubleshoot machining issues, adjusting programs or set-ups to maintain production quality and flow.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Background CNC Machinist

• Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent qualification.
• CNC machining experience on various machines including Mazak
• In-depth knowledge of machining techniques, tooling, and inspection methods
