Position OverviewAs a Social Worker / Senior Practitioner (Children's), you will be responsible for managing your caseload, providing expert supervision, and contributing to practice development within our children's services team. This contract role offers a chance to develop your skills while making a meaningful impact.

- Social Worker / Band 1 (ASYE + 2+ years' experience): £28.55/hour inclusive of holiday pay
- Senior Social Worker / Band 2 (ASYE + 3+ years' experience): £30.57/hour inclusive of holiday pay
- Advanced/Senior Practitioner / Assistant Team Manager: £33.30/hour inclusive of holiday pay
As a Social Worker / Senior Practitioner (Children's), your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Managing and prioritising a caseload of children and families, ensuring timely interventions.
- Conducting assessments ensuring the best outcomes for children.
- Producing clear, comprehensive reports and case notes.
- Working collaboratively with multi-agency teams and partner organisations.
- Providing supervision and support to junior team members when needed.
- Contributing to practice development, sharing knowledge, and supporting continuous improvement.
- Upholding safeguarding procedures and maintaining compliance with statutory requirements.
- Participating in team meetings, case reviews, and training sessions.
- Engaging in reflective practice to develop personal and team performance.
