Elvet Recruitment are working with a successful and trusted Commercial Building Contractor to assist them finding a Site Administrator to assist with their £75m project in the North East.
With a stable clientele, this company’s growth is consistently accelerating through the strong pipeline of projects as well as their successes of recent projects completed.
As an Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth and efficient running of the site. You’ll be responsible for ensuring that departmental processes are completed accurately and on time, while also providing general administrative support to the team as needed.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Maintaining accurate records of project documents, including contracts, drawings, specifications, and safety regulations
* Liasing between site staff, contractors, subcontractors, and clients
* Assisting with the development and maintenance of project timelines and schedules.
* Monitoring project expenses and ensuring adherence to the budget.
* Ensuring compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and other relevant standards.
* Handling inquiries from suppliers, processing invoices, and managing procurement
* Preparing and distributing project reports and progress updates
* Ordering stock for the site
* Recording minutes/actions from any meetings as required.
* Setting up, obtaining approvals, and processing new Sub-Contractors.
* Managing contingent worker process.
* Maintain and update Supply Chain documentation.
* Managing weekly staff diaries as required.
* General site office duties.
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience of working within a Site Manager role or similar
* Experience of using Asite software (Desirable)
* Previous experience in a commercial business environment
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
* Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Role Information:
* Monday to Friday 08::00
* 30 minutes lunch
* £26,000 - £32,000
