SEND Teaching Assistants – Full-time or Part-time, starting as soon as possible
Duties as SEND Teaching Assistant:- Provide tailored support to pupils with a range of special educational needs
- Assist teachers in delivering inclusive lessons and adapting resources
- Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development
- Implement individual education plans (IEPs) under guidance from teaching staff
- Promote a safe and positive learning environment for all learners
- Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff
- Previous experience supporting children with SEND in an educational setting
- Strong understanding of strategies for supporting pupils with additional needs
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills
- Relevant qualifications or willingness to undertake training
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
