SEND Review Coordinator
£28,598 pa
South Tyneside Council is looking for passionate and highly motivated individuals who are committed to improving outcomes for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
Responsibilities- Ensure children and young people with SEND meet positive outcomes and are prepared for adulthood.
- Provide effective and efficient administration for the SEND Assessment & Review Service, overseeing the annual review process to ensure high quality and timely delivery of amended and finalised EHC Plans.
- Experience and knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice.
- Effective use of Microsoft Office and specialist ICT packages.
South Tyneside Council is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults. An Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) disclosure will be sought along with other relevant pre-employment checks.
