Part-time invigilator post at Larkmead School, covering internal and external exams under the Examinations Manager. The work is supervising candidates strictly to Joint Council for Qualifications rules across the exam seasons, which include mock exams. Sessions can be mornings, afternoons or both, with start times around 08.00 or 12.30, and the school provides examination and safeguarding training. Visa sponsorship is not available, and steady availability across the exam periods is needed.
Whatthe job involves
- Assist in running internal and external exams
- Invigilate exams to Joint Council for Qualifications regulations
- Work under the direction of the Examinations Manager
- Cover mock internal exams across the exam seasons
- Supervise morning and/or afternoon exam sessions
- Good rapport with young people
- Observant
- Good attention to detail
- Good availability across the exam seasons (November to June)
- Able to work regularly through the exam seasons
