£57,809 pa (Inclusive of Market Forces Supplement, Subject to Review 31 August 2028)

Lead with Purpose – Become a Registered Manager in Our Children’s Homes

We’re expanding our homes for children cared for, making this a truly exciting time to join South Tyneside Council.

Are you a compassionate, driven leader with a deep commitment to improving the lives of children and young people? We are seeking a Registered Manager to lead our Children’s Homes, where your expertise will shape a nurturing, safe, and empowering environment for those who need it most. This is more than a management role — it’s a chance to make a lasting impact.

You’ll be at the heart of a service that places the child’s voice at the centre of every decision, ensuring care is not only compliant with regulations but truly transformative. You’ll lead a dedicated team, foster a culture of excellence, and champion trauma-informed, therapeutic approaches that support healing and growth.

  • Have a proven track record in residential childcare or similar settings.
