Location: Abingdon
Salary: £39,000 – £48,000
Working Hours: 9:00am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday

An innovative and fast‑growing advanced manufacturing business is seeking an
Machine Operator
to join its production team based in Abingdon. This role offers the chance to work with cutting‑edge manufacturing technology, producing high‑performance components for demanding engineering sectors.

You will work closely with engineers and fellow technicians to ensure production targets are met, technical challenges are resolved efficiently, and quality standards are maintained throughout the process. Full training will be provided where required.

• Operating manufacturing equipment
• Running post‑processing machinery, including heat treatment equipment and wire EDMs
• Working closely with production management and engineering teams to plan and prioritise work
• Supporting the continuous development and improvement of in‑house manufacturing capabilities
• Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping

• A hands‑on approach with a strong willingness to learn new skills
• Experience working within a engineering or manufacturing environment
• Highly organised, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Excellent attention to detail and quality

• Experience with manufacturing equipment
• Flexibility to support changing production demands when required
