South Windsor Public Schools is seeking an instructional para educator who is enthusiastic and can support middle school aged students’ academic, social and behavioral growth. This position is at Timothy Edwards Middle School and is classified as a nine and one‑half (9.5) months, 31.25 hours per week.
South Windsor is a diverse community of approximately 27,000 citizens and more than 5,100 public school students. Qualifications: Previous experience working with school age children is desired. Applicant must possess an associate’s degree, two years of college credits, or have passed the Para Pro exam.

Salary: Entry rate is $21.81 per hour with incremental increases. Prior experience in a comparable role will be considered. Benefits are offered.

• Entry (12 months): $21.81/hr
• 12 months: $23.09/hr
• 18 months: $24.38/hr
• 24 months: $25.66/hr
