Automated Test Equipment (ATE) Senior Engineer - CT
Join the company’s ATE systems engineering team to develop and deliver high-quality automated test solutions.
Requirements- Bachelors degree in engineering, Masters degree is a plus
- 8+ years of experience in applicable engineering practice, including 4+ years with experience in automated test systems development
- Ability to architect, design, and develop practical hardware & software solutions to meet application requirements
- Experience in system software verification (hands‑on testing and integration) and validation in conjunction with system level hardware testing
- Experience with translating a test procedure to automated software
- Open to further grow expertise in multi‑disciplinary engineering skills
- Experience in mentoring multiple engineers
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Rapidly responsive, personable, and engaging
- Familiar with National Instruments (NI) hardware and software
- Experience with software applications in Test Stand (NI certifications is a plus)
- Experience with software applications in LabVIEW (NI certification is a plus)
- Experience with test equipment (DMMs, Automated Switching, Digital to Analog converters, Oscilloscopes, Function Generators, Power Supplies, etc.)
- Experience with systems including reading system schematic and electrical harness drawings
- Lead engineer for test solutions with design & test
- Work with teams of engineers, project managers, and manufacturing to develop and deliver high-quality automated test solutions to customer and internal stakeholders
- Lead and contribute to research/conceptualize engineering solutions for quoting new project as well as executing existing project
- Participate in technical design planning, development and reviews as needed
- Manage technical scope to meet customer’s expectations on quality, schedule and cost
- Comply with company standard, process and procedures for best professional practices
