Radiologic Technologist Flex - $7500 Sign on Bonus

Education:
- Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Work Experience:
- Experience in a clinical setting preferred
Required
Licenses/Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) at time of hire (ARC or AHA)
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration required
- Applicable state licensure as Radiologic Technologist required
- Perform x‑ray services as needed, applying x‑ray energy for diagnosis or treatment across all age groups.
- Ensure correct positioning and radiation safety for patients of all ages.
- Assist with patient flow and rooming: verified patient info, vital signs, and expand critical cases to provider.
- Conduct point‑of‑care tests as needed (flu, strep, urinalysis, ECG, HCG) and provide results to provider.
- Collaborate with ordering/revealing providers to determine best imaging views.
- Explain procedures to patients, ensuring comfort and safety.
- Maintain accurate patient records and logs in electronic systems.
- Perform routine X‑ray equipment maintenance and preventive care.
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols (ALARA) and infection control.
- Knowledge of X‑ray procedures, anatomy, and body mechanics.
- Knowledge of radiology equipment and safety hazards.
- Ability to position patients properly and use equipment controls to capture diagnostic images.
- Identify equipment problems and notify supervisors.
- Follow infection control and radiologic safety procedures.
