Pick & Pack / Material Handler - 9am-5:30pm
Join O'Neal Steel as a Pick & Pack / Material Handler. The role involves daily organization of the shipping floor, package material, prepare orders for shipment, weigh and measure material, use forklift and lifting equipment to move material, return unprocessed material to inventory, maintain transactions and locations in the operating system, attach packing slip / certs, set up and operate metal cutting machinery, run bandsaws, housekeep, sweep, pick up in the shipping area.
Responsibilities- Organize shipping floor / stage daily shipments
- Package material
- Prepare order to be shipped
- Weigh and measure material
- Use forklift to move material
- Return unprocessed material to inventory
- Maintain transactions and locations in operating system
- Attach packing slip / certs
- Set up and operate metal cutting machinery
- Run bandsaws
- Use lifting equipment
- Housekeeping, sweep, pick up in shipping area
