- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 years of experience in a warehouse environment
- 3 years of experience in a supervisory role
- Availability for flexible schedule and overtime required (including weekends)
As the Production Supervisor, you will lead all aspects of labor on the Production floor and prioritize client mailings to ensure the operation is running efficiently. You'll supervise production lines and delegate work, ensuring all machines have the right jobs running and are working to improve efficiency and minimize downtime. You will also take the lead in ensuring that appropriate staff levels are maintained, and all associates are accurately trained to perform their functions and help attract and retain quality staff.
Responsibilities- Shift: Monday to Friday 4pm to 12am
- Receiving materials to the warehouse and distributing them to the Production floor
- Sign off on all jobs, including material/media/indicia verification.
- Supervise approximately 15-25 employees, both permanent and temporary
- Ensure all Operators have received proper technical training and ISO training.
- Responsible for all Mail Industry production equipment such as Bindery, Insertion and Postal sort and knowing their capabilities & workflow improvements
- Delegate and ensure all jobs on the Must-Mail list are prioritized and completed in the accurate order; track all "hot jobs" and ensure deadlines are met.
- Pull jobs from supporting areas (Print Room, Forms, Inkjet, Scheduling) to help meet/exceed SLA's.
