Waterjet Operator

The Waterjet Operator will be responsible for program, set-up, and operation of waterjet machine.

South Windsor, CT

This role must be onsite 5 days/week Monday
-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm

• Set-up and operation of Jet Edge waterjet machine.
• Set-up and operation of Mazak milling machine
• Understanding capabilities of machine to maximize output.
• Ability to check dimensions of finished parts using standard measuring devices.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Routine and preventive maintenance including equipment checks

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of related experience
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.

• Aerospace and/or manufacturing experience
• Must have demonstrated mechanical ability.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Clear communication (oral and written) skills.
• Ability to keep accurate records.
• Ability to follow documented procedures, work instructions and customer requirements.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision.
• Knowledge of Jet Edge Waterjet machine a plus.
• Mechanical background
• Waterjet and CNC Machining knowledge a plus

• Requires mobility in a manufacturing plant environment while using Personal Protective Equipment.
• Must be able to frequently sit, stand and walk.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 15 pounds.
