Our client in the meat and retail industry is looking for an experienced Financial Accountant with exceptional attention to detail to join their team in Matatiele.

• Processing invoices and reconciling with purchase orders and goods receipts
• Processing the daily cash books and petty cash
• Overseeing the daily cash office work
• Balancing the trade accounts between Arch and Pastel
• HP monthly processing
• Month‑end journals
• Management accounts
• Monitor aging reports and ensure timely payments
• Manage the loading of vendor payments and account details
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and relevant regulations
• Monitor and update debtor and credit applications and information

• Degree or Diploma in Accounting / Finance
• Proven experience in accounts payable, receivable, and bookkeeping roles
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in Pastel and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
