Creditors Clerk

Job description SA - Gauteng, Germiston R20 000

Seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Creditors Clerk to manage supplier accounts, ensure accurate processing of invoices, and maintain strong relationships with vendors. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the finance function and ensuring compliance with internal controls and processing deadlines.

• Grade 12 essential
• A relevant bookkeeping or accounting qualification will be advantageous
• Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in a Creditors/Accounts Payable/Bookkeeping role
• Basic experience with accounting systems required
• Ability to correctly allocate transactions to the appropriate accounts in the chart of accounts
• Basic understanding of VAT on purchases and treatment thereof
• Awareness of the difference between expenses and assets
