Senior Bookkeeper - Kloof

We are looking for an experienced, steady, and highly capable Senior Bookkeeper to take full ownership of the day-to-day financial operations of our business.

This role suits someone who enjoys structure, accuracy, and responsibility, and who takes pride in keeping the financial engine of a business running smoothly. You’ll be trusted to work independently, manage complexity calmly, and bring consistency and good judgement to the role.

• Full-cycle bookkeeping, including accounts payable and receivable
• Managing complex invoicing with precision and consistency
• Bank, credit card, and account reconciliations
• Maintaining accurate ledgers and financial records
• Preparing monthly management reports
• Ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
• Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc financial analysis
• Acting as a reliable financial sounding board for management

• Strong, proven experience as a senior bookkeeper
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and best practice
• Confidence working with accounting software and detailed reconciliations
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Highly organised, methodical, and dependable
• Comfortable working independently and taking ownership
• Experience in a small to medium-sized business environment
• Good working knowledge of South African tax and VAT
