Our client, a well-established and growing organisation within the distribution sector, is seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join their finance team.
This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on accounting professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced trading environment and has strong experience managing stock, inventory, and the full accounting function.

🔑 Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis
- Manage month-end processes, including debtors, creditors, inventory, fixed assets, and bank reconciliations
- Monitor and report on cash flow and working capital
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Prepare VAT, PAYE, and other statutory submissions
- Support annual audits and maintain strong financial controls
- Review and improve financial processes and reporting accuracy
- Provide support and guidance to junior finance team members

✅ Requirements
- BCom Accounting or equivalent qualification
- Approximately 5 years' experience in an Accountant / Financial Accountant role

- Experience with in a trading, distribution, wholesale, retail, manufacturing, or stock-driven environment is essential
- Strong understanding of inventory and stock accounting
- Sound knowledge of financial reporting, reconciliations, and compliance requirements
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Fluent in both Afrikaans and English
