Our client in the agricultural sector is seeking to appoint a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and is passionate about providing financial support to the business while maintaining strong financial controls.

• Plan, manage and coordinate the finance-related activities of the business
• Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and monitor actual expenditure against budget
• Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts
• Report financial information to stakeholders
• Prepare cash flow forecasts and oversee day-to-day cash flow management
• Evaluate internal controls and implement improvements where necessary
• Provide financial support to the operational side of the business

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• Further accounting qualifications or professional designations will be advantageous
• Minimum 3 years' relevant accounting experience
• Sound knowledge of accounting principles and financial practices
• Understanding of corporate governance principles and internal controls
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and financial reporting/accounting software
• Strong analytical and numerical ability
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• High level of integrity and accountability
• Deadline-driven with the ability to work independently as well as within a team
