Group Accountant position available in Strand.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage financial records, ledgers and reporting.
- Perform bank and financial account reconciliations.
- Prepare management and ad hoc financial reports.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
- Prepare VAT returns and ensure VAT compliance.
- Conduct internal audits and maintain effective financial controls.
- Prepare audit files and support external auditors.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- SAIPA certification advantageous.
- Recently completed articles or 4-5 years' post-article accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Experience with Xero or similar accounting software.
- Good Excel skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
