/li> li>Minimum 1 year of post articles experience. /li> li>Knowledge of relevant computer programs such as Draftworx, Xero, Payroll packages and Microsoft Excel. /li> li>Experience managing a team and client engagements /li> li>Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written). /li> li>Strong analytical and numerical skills. /li> li>Valid drivers license and own vehicle. /li> /ul> p> b>Duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to: /b> /p> ul> li>Processing accounting transactions up to trial balance.
/li> li>Compilation and sign-off of Annual Financial Statements in accordance with IFRS for SMEs. /li> li>Company and Trust Income Tax Return calculation and submission. /li> li>Provisional tax calculation and submission. /li> li>VAT reconciliation, calculation and submission. /li> li>Personal income tax calculations and submissions. /li> li>Supervising and providing guidance to bookkeepers/trainees, if applicable. /li> li>Review of work performed by bookkeepers/trainees, including accounting processing, Annual Financial Statements, Income Tax Returns, Provisional tax calculations, VAT and EMP recons and submissions.
/li> li>Raising adequate review queries on work performed by bookkeepers/trainees to promote a learning environment and to assist the Accountants with their workload. /li> li>Assist the Accountants with managing client portfolios and maintaining sound client relationships. /li> li>Leading team training sessions on occasion. /li> li>Providing IGrow investors with guidance, by implementing trusts as well as corporate and commercial structures, to optimise tax benefits, wealth creation and risk mitigation.
/li> li>Supervising timely submission of all deliverables. /li> li>SARS appointments and queries. /li> li>Any other output that may be reasonably required from this role. /li> /ul> p>If you do not receive feedback within two weeks of submitting your application, please consider your application unsuccessful. /p>
