Junior Auditor

Our client in Klerksdorp is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Junior Auditor to join their internal audit team. This role is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional to gain comprehensive experience in auditing principles and practices. You will assist in planning and executing audits, evaluating internal controls, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. Working closely with senior auditors, you will contribute to safeguarding company assets and improving operational efficiency within a supportive office environment.

• Assist in the planning and execution of internal audits for various departments and functions.
• Perform detailed testing of internal controls and financial processes.
• Gather and analyze audit evidence, documenting findings clearly and concisely.
• Identify potential risks and control weaknesses, and propose practical recommendations for improvement.
• Prepare draft audit reports summarizing findings and recommendations for review by senior staff.
• Support the audit team in ad-hoc investigations and compliance reviews.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Auditing, or a related field.
• Knowledge of auditing principles, standards (e.g., ISA), and internal control frameworks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis.
• Strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting and team collaboration.
