QUALIFIED ACCOUNTANT – NELSPRUIT VACANCYREQUIREMENTS

• SAIPA, AGA(SA) or CIMA qualified.
• Experience as a Financial Accountant, Senior Accountant or Financial Manager.
• Strong technical accounting and month-end experience.
• Able to work independently and report directly to owners.
• Fully office-based.
• At least 5 years working experience in the private sector.

• Full accounting function and General Ledger.
• Monthly management accounts and month-end close.
• Reconciliations, journals and financial reporting.
• Year-end preparation and audit support.
• Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and outstanding matters.
• Improve financial controls, processes and procedures.
• Budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow management.
• Work closely with Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Administration.
• Provide financial support and reporting to management.

The finance function is currently under strain and requires remediation and restructuring. This is not a role where you will simply inherit an established finance department. We are looking for someone who is technically strong, hands‑on, practical and comfortable taking ownership and building processes from the ground up. THIS IS A HANDS‑ON POSITION, NOT A MANAGEMENT POSITION.

R30 000 – R40 000 per month Depending on experience.
