ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT X 1
Buscor (Pty) Ltd, a leading transport company requires the services of an Accounts Assistant. The position is available at Buscor Head Office Nelspruit. Interested candidates from all designated groups who meet the following criteria are invited to apply.
Special Requirements- Grade 12
- At least 3 years experience in a similar position dealing with
finance (debtors/creditors/cashbook - large company)
- Fully computer literate
- Microsoft office - Very good excel knowledge
- Must have used a computerized accounting package before
- Pastel Partner will be an advantage
- Good communication & interpersonal skills
- Accurate and performance driven individual
- Must be able to handle stress and work under pressure
- Person must be able to work independently and requires minimum supervision
- Deadline orientated
- Traceable references
- Medically fit
- Reliever for debtors
- Processing of debtors up to trial balance. Follow up on outstanding debtors - Reliever for creditors
- Processing of creditors up to trial balance. Reconcilling of creditors to statement and accounting records - Reliever for cashbook
- Processing and reconcilling of cashbook up to trial balance - Payments
- Processing of invoices on accounting system. Follow up on payments and queries - Ordering and issuing stationary, groceries and company books
- Other ad-hoc daily tasks relating to finance department
