Job Primary Purpose

The main purpose of this position is to provide high-level administrative, operational and coordination support to the Head of School, Programme Leaders, Programme Coordinators and academic staff within the School of Development Studies.

  • Record Management and Compliance.
Educational

Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Administration, Public Administration, Business Administration or a related field obtained from an accredited university or institution.

Experience
  • At least 4 years’ relevant experience.
Recommendation
  • At least 3 years’ administrative experience, preferably within a higher education or academic environment.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to compile reports, correspondence, and administrative documentation.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and multilingual institutional environment.
