An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Outpatient Administration team for NHS Grampian across various sites:
Aberdeen Maternity Hospital, Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, Royal Aberdeen Children's Hospital, and Woodend General Hospital.

• Band 2 Outpatient Receptionist
• Working hours:
  
  Monday and Friday 08:30 – 16:30 (fixed)
• Locations:
  Aberdeen Maternity Hospital, Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, Royal Aberdeen Children's Hospital, Woodend General Hospital

• Handle telephone enquiries from patients
• Process GP referrals
• Prepare clinic lists and paperwork for upcoming clinics
• Assist clinic coordinators with booking appointments from the outpatient waiting list
• Perform general administrative duties as required

• Good customer service skills and polite telephone manner
• Ability to work as part of a team and under pressure during staff shortages
• Confident, caring and empathetic in dealing with service users and colleagues
• Well organised, methodical, with excellent communication, interpersonal and IT skills
