This pivotal role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and a passion for delivering top-tier repairs and maintenance.

Minimum Requirements- At least 3 years proven experience in a similar role within the automotive industry
- Experienced in working with the VW brand will be advantageous
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills across a range of vehicle makes and models.
- Excellent knowledge of automotive systems, repair techniques, and tools.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with team members and clients.
- Commitment to safety and the ability to enforce safety procedures.
- Proficiency in using computer software for diagnostic and reporting purposes.
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English
- A commitment to delivering excellent customer service
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Clear criminal record
- Team Leadership: Supervise and lead a team of automotive technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient and high-quality work.
- Workflow Management: Coordinate and prioritize repair and maintenance tasks, ensuring timely completion of work orders and adherence to schedules.
- Technical Expertise: Diagnose complex vehicle issues, provide technical assistance to technicians, and ensure the use of proper repair procedures and tools.
- Quality Control: Conduct quality inspections of completed work, ensuring it meets industry standards and customer expectations.
- Inventory Management: Manage workshop inventory, including tools, parts, and supplies, to ensure availability for repairs.
- Customer Interaction: Interact with customers to explain repairs, provide estimates, and address any concerns or questions.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment for all workshop staff.
- Reporting: Maintain records of repairs, parts used, and technician performance, and generate reports as needed.
