Qualified Automotive Technician required in Hartswater.
A well-established automotive business in Hartswater is looking for a Qualified Motor Technician to join their team.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical and diagnostic skills with Motor Mechanic experience being advantageous.
The successful candidate should be passionate about the motor industry, quality-driven and able to work effectively in a professional workshop environment.
Salary: R17 000 – R20 000 per month depending on qualification and experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform vehicle servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs.
- Diagnose vehicle faults and conduct accurate fault-finding.
- Identify technical and mechanical issues and determine appropriate repairs.
- Perform diagnostic testing using relevant diagnostic equipment.
- Ensure all repairs and servicing are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship, quality and reliability.
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Maintain good communication and professional working relationships with colleagues.
- Follow workshop procedures and maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
- Demonstrate a professional attitude, strong work ethic and attention to detail.
Requirements:
- Trade-Tested / Qualified Motor Technician – essential.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in vehicle servicing and repairs.
- Qualification in vehicle diagnostics and fault-finding.
- Strong mechanical and technical skills.
- Experience working on diesel and/or petrol vehicles.
- Motor Mechanic experience will be advantageous.
- Previous dealership or workshop experience will be advantageous.
- Ability to work well within a team and maintain positive relationships with co-workers.
- Reliable, responsible and quality-focused with a passion for the motor industry.
- Fluent in both Afrikaans and English – essential.
