Our client is seeking an expert Automotive Diagnostic Specialist to join their advanced repair facility in Klerksdorp . You will be the go-to expert for challenging diagnostic problems, ensuring vehicles are repaired correctly the first time. Key Responsibilities- Conduct in-depth diagnostics on complex vehicle systems, including engine, transmission, ABS, and SRS faults.
- Interpret diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) and complex data streams from vehicle ECUs.
- Utilize advanced tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and sophisticated scan tools to pinpoint issues.
- Research technical service bulletins and manufacturer repair data to find solutions.
- Communicate findings and proposed repair strategies clearly to service advisors and technicians.
- Stay current with new vehicle technologies and diagnostic methodologies through continuous training.
- Extensive experience as an Automotive Diagnostic Specialist or Master Technician with a diagnostic focus.
- Formal qualifications in automotive technology, with specialized diagnostic training.
- Proficiency with a wide range of OEM and aftermarket diagnostic software and hardware.
- In-depth understanding of vehicle electronics, sensor technologies, and network communication protocols.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage complex diagnostic cases efficiently.
