Our client is seeking a customer-focused and articulate Automotive Service Advisor to join their bustling dealership in Benoni . This front-line role is pivotal in bridging the gap between customers and the service department. You will be responsible for greeting customers, understanding their vehicle concerns, accurately documenting service requests, and communicating repair recommendations clearly. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for the automotive industry, contributing to a positive customer experience in Gauteng .
Key Responsibilities- Greet customers in a professional and friendly manner, listening attentively to their service needs.
- Accurately interpret customer requests and translate them into detailed work orders for technicians.
- Provide customers with clear, concise explanations of recommended maintenance and repairs, including associated costs and time frames.
- Schedule service appointments efficiently, optimizing workshop capacity and technician availability.
- Maintain strong communication with customers throughout the service process, providing updates on progress.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Previous experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or in a similar customer-facing role within the automotive industry.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

- Basic understanding of automotive systems and terminology.
- Proficiency in using dealership management software (DMS) or similar systems.
