About the Role
Our client is seeking enthusiastic individuals for an Apprentice Automotive Technician program in Benoni . This apprenticeship provides structured training to develop skilled technicians capable of diagnosing, servicing, and repairing a wide range of vehicles. You will work under the mentorship of experienced master technicians, learning to use state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment and tools in a busy workshop environment. Key Responsibilities- Assist certified technicians in performing routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Learn to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Perform repairs and replacements on various vehicle components, such as engines, transmissions, and suspension systems.
- Ensure all work is performed to high standards of quality and safety.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace and properly manage workshop tools and equipment.
- Complete all assigned training modules, practical assessments, and manufacturer-specific courses.
- Grade 12 certificate or equivalent, with a focus on Mathematics and Physical Science.
- A strong passion for vehicles and a desire to learn automotive repair.
- Good mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions precisely.
- Must possess a valid driver's license or be actively working towards obtaining one.
- Commitment to completing the full apprenticeship program in Benoni .
