Our client is seeking a highly skilled Automotive Diagnostic Specialist to join their advanced service center in Benoni . This role is for a technician with an exceptional ability to troubleshoot and identify the root cause of complex vehicle malfunctions, particularly in engine performance, electrical systems, and drivability issues. You will utilize the latest diagnostic tools and software to pinpoint problems accurately and efficiently, minimizing downtime for customers.

• Perform in-depth diagnostics on all vehicle systems, with a focus on engine performance and electronic issues.
• Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment, including scan tools, oscilloscopes, and multimeters.
• Interpret diagnostic data and technical service bulletins to identify root causes of malfunctions.
• Recommend appropriate repairs based on diagnostic findings and communicate these clearly.
• Stay current with new automotive technologies and diagnostic procedures.
• Test and verify repairs to ensure all issues are resolved effectively.

• Extensive experience as an Automotive Technician with a specialization in diagnostics.
• Proficiency with OEM-level diagnostic software and a wide range of diagnostic tools.
• Strong understanding of internal combustion engines, electrical systems, and CAN bus networks.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., ASE certifications in advanced engine performance) are essential.
