Senior Automotive Parts Specialist

Our client is looking for a knowledgeable and organized Senior Automotive Parts Specialist to join their dynamic team in Nelspruit . This role is central to ensuring the smooth operation of their service department and parts counter. You will be responsible for managing inventory, sourcing high-quality parts, advising technicians and customers, and potentially leading a small team. • Manage and maintain optimal inventory levels of automotive parts, ensuring availability for service and sales.
• Source parts from approved manufacturers and suppliers, negotiating pricing and terms.
• Assist service technicians and customers in identifying and ordering correct replacement parts.
• Process parts orders, manage stock takes, and maintain accurate inventory records in the dealership management system.
• Provide guidance and training to junior parts department staff.

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in an automotive parts department, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory capacity.
• Strong knowledge of automotive components, part numbers, and vehicle systems.
• Proficiency with parts inventory management software and dealership management systems (DMS).
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
